Flue Gas Treatment: It is used in the cleaning of sulfur oxides (SO2, SO3) in the flue gas by wet and dry desulphurization method, in the cleaning of HCI formed in the flue gas by burning domestic wastes, and in the reduction of some heavy metals in the flue gas with activated carbons.

Drinking Water Treatment: It is used to remove carbonate hardness, to remove hardness other than carbonate hardness in the lime/soda process, to neutralize acidic waters, to precipitate solid particles in water together with aluminum and iron salts, to increase the pH value of water and to destroy bacteria and some viruses in water.
