Comfeel ®Plus provides moist wound healing benefits and offers protection to wounds and at-risk skin.

Compared to conventional wound healing, Usage Comfeel Plus hydrocolloid dressings are indicated for a wide variety of wounds with low to moderate exudation.

Dressings are indicated for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers and pressure sores and acute wounds such as superficial burns, superficial partial thickness burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions.

Depending on the specific wound characteristics, the dressing may remain for up to 7 days.

Comfeel Plus can be used as a primary cover or as a secondary cover.

Mechanism of action When the wound cover touches the wound exudate, it forms a viscous gel that absorbs the exudate but does not adhere to the wound bed.

The product composition Comfeel Plus consists of moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (kms) particles contained in a synthetic, elastic and adhesive mass.

Calcium alginate has been added to the drape to increase absorption.

Comfeel Plus Transparent is formulated without pectin, known allergens such as latex or colophony, or animal derivatives such as gelatin.

Thanks to the 3-piece touchless system, you get a controlled and aseptic application, so you can apply the dressing without touching the adhesive side of the dressing and reduce the risk of contamination and infection.

The special mapping grid also allows you to monitor wound healing without the need to remove the dressing.

Smooth top film and fine beveled edges reduce the risk of the dressing sticking to clothes and bed linen, resulting in the edges curling and the dressing dropping.
