The slider mechanism on the top of the cover can be used in 3 different positions: 1- Half Open: When the slider mechanism is aligned with the semicircle in the pictogram, the small opening in the seal opens for light ventilation.

2- Off: When the slider mechanism is aligned with the fully carved circle in the middle of the pictogram, both openings in the seal are closed.

3- Full Open: When the slider mechanism is aligned with the hollow, bright circle on the pictogram, the large opening in the seal opens for full ventilation.

The cover is easy to open thanks to the tab on the corner.
