HC-SR501 PIR Motion Detection Sensor PIR sensors are sensors used to detect live motion that occurs in an environment.

This tiny sensor is a module that can be used with many microcontroller platforms, especially Arduino, which you can easily use in various electronic, robotic and hobby applications.

This module, which has a digital output, outputs logic 0 when it does not detect motion in the environment, and logic 1 when it detects motion.

There are two potentiometers, Sx and Tx, on the HC-SR501 Adjustable IR Motion Detection Sensor.

The Sx potentiometer varies the sight distance of the sensor between 3 and 5 meters.

Tx pot, on the other hand, adjusts how long it will output logic 1(3.3V) from the output pin after seeing the sensor.
