-
Reducing environmental impact
-
It is necessary to use a lot of water to dye the fabrics and a lot of waste water is discharged.
-
To reduce this environmental impact, we apply 2 dyeing processes to the product:
-
- We do not dye the yarns of the inner fabric.
-
- We apply the dyeing process in large pieces and apply the colors on blue, black and khaki colored outer fabrics in the production process of the rope,
-
How is the volume of the bags measured?
-
The volume of all backpacks is measured by a standard method: We fill the main compartment of the bag and all its pockets with small balls. We then empty these balls into a scaled container that displays the equivalent volume on a liter-by-liter basis.
-
How should I arrange my bag?
-
1 - First, loosen all straps (sling, belt, tension perlons).
-
2 - Attach the bag
-
3 - Tighten shoulder straps
-
4 - Finally, adjust the tension perlons to your own
-
How should I place my bag?
-
Place your heavy items at the bottom. Place clothing around these materials. Put your raincoat and / or fleece somewhere within easy reach. Small everyday items can be carried in pockets (sunscreen, map, glasses...).
-
Tests performed for ideal durability and robustness
-
Many laboratory tests are applied before the components used are approved: such as fabric, buckle, strap, foam, zipper tests. For example, for fabric: we apply wear and tear resistance, color protection against UV rays and washing, and waterproof tests. Then, to measure the quality of assembly, we subject the bag to years of accelerated attrition testing on a mannequin that mimics the movements of the hiker.
